If you organize meetings

How do I create a new meeting?

Log in and click "New meeting" on the main page. Enter a title, duration, and mark the times you want on the weekly grid.

What's the difference between "seats" and the "registration limit"?

"Seats" is how many people actually fit in one time slot (e.g. one conversation). Checking "Allow more registrations than the specified capacity" lets you set a higher "registration limit" as a buffer - anyone over the seat count goes on a waitlist and is shown their position.

What is a recurring meeting?

Checking "Recurring meeting" automatically repeats the same times every week or month up to a date you choose, so you don't have to mark them by hand each time.

What are collections?

A collection bundles several meetings (e.g. different subjects or activities) into one shared sign-up page - a participant can pick a time for each of them in a single form.

How do I share the registration link?

Every meeting (and collection) has its own unique link shown in the list - copy it with the "Copy" button and send it to participants. If a link ends up in the wrong hands, you can regenerate it from the edit page - the old link stops working.

How do I share the registration list with a colleague without giving them edit access?

Every meeting (on its view page) also has a separate "view-only link". Opening it shows just the registration list - with no ability to edit, move, or delete anything, and no 2day account is needed.

How do I see who signed up, and move or delete a registration?

On the meeting's view page you can see who signed up for each time slot. You can move them to a different time or delete their registration - choosing either action opens a dialog where you can also add a note for them; either way, they automatically get an email notification.

What happens when I archive a meeting?

An archived meeting moves from the main list into the "Archive" section, its registration link stops accepting new sign-ups, and if it belonged to a collection, only its active members stay visible there. Existing registrations remain untouched, but reminders are no longer sent for an archived meeting. You can reactivate it at any time.

If you're signing up for a meeting

Do I need to create an account?

No. Signing up doesn't require an account - just open the link you received, pick a time, and enter your name and email.

What do the grey times in the grid mean?

Grey marks times that are already taken - they can no longer be selected. Available times are shown in a brighter color.

Will I get a confirmation?

Yes, right after signing up you'll get a confirmation email with a link you can use to cancel your registration if your plans change.

What does "waitlist" mean?

If the organizer allowed more sign-ups than there are seats, anyone over the seat count goes on a waitlist - if someone cancels, the list moves up. You'll see your position right after signing up.

How do I cancel my registration?

The confirmation email and the success page both include a personal cancellation link - open it any time to cancel your registration.

I'm signing up for a collection (several meetings) - why don't I see the time grids right away?

On a collection's sign-up page, each meeting is shown as a collapsed item - click its title to reveal that meeting's time grid. You can open one, several, or all of them at once, pick a time in each, and submit one shared sign-up form.
